Regulation

The European Commission has just decided to refer Poland to the Court of Justice of the European Union for non-compliance with the directive relating to the treatment of urban waste water (directive 91/271/EEC). The Directive requires Member States to ensure that urban agglomerations (towns, cities, agglomerations) collect and treat their waste water properly, thereby eliminating or reducing any adverse effects when discharged into bodies of water :

Financing

In 2019, the Loire-Bretagne water agency signed a partnership agreement with the Haute-Loire departmental council. The challenge was to strengthen its action for water and aquatic environments in the department. In view of the 3 years of implementation, the actors of this partnership have decided to continue their commitments and renew their agreement:
