The French Water Plan will finally be presented “in a few weeks”: this was assured in a video speech by Christophe Béchu, Minister for Ecological Transition, and Bérangère Couillard, Secretary of State for Ecology, at the occasion of the Crossroads of local water management, Wednesday 25 January. Eagerly awaited by water stakeholders, this plan should be the culmination of work undertaken within the framework of ecological planning. The first project devoted to water was launched last September. During the four months that followed, the players in the sector submitted their proposals: the basin committees were consulted, the National Water Committee mobilized and working group meetings were organised:

Drinking water: an order defines the content, frequency and mode of adoption of water safety management plans (WSP), which are to be generalized with deadlines of July 2027 and July 2029:

The Oman Water and Wastewater Services Company (OWWSC) held an opening ceremony for a $390 million (150 million Omani rial) drinking water distribution project that will supply the governorate of Al Dhahirah, connecting it to the water desalination plant in Sohar on the north coast of the country:
